Mistakes for Success 101

Who is a youth if he/she doesn’t make mistakes? Most inspirational speakers and/or councilors made a lot of mistakes, that is why they have succeeded in their occupation! They speak from experience. They explain points that most likely, you may encounter in the shortest period possible, when they worn you. Why are they such perfect in their predictions? Why is it so hard for common/ ordinary people to understand them and switch completely from their ordinary lifestyle and embrace new, suggested ways?

In my book, Take Life back to your Hands, it’s quoted; “It is difficult to advice someone who has no experience with the mistake in the subject.” Mistakes are guidelines for our lifestyle. Making a mistake is not the mistake, but refraining in the mistake! Making same mistakes equals being a fool. Mistakes are our success if we learn that they are the mistakes we made. Most people still suffer because they have not realized that their problems are rooted to the mistakes they continuously make.

Makame is my long time friend. He was my classmate and moreover, a desk mate from form three, in high school. He has now been married three times, but then divorced with his third wife! God forbid! I equally had an unsuccessful marriage in my first attempt. He knew it. But in my second marriage, I had to learn about the mistakes that I made in my first marriage, and accepted to change. My wife really loves how I handle her. Often, she thanks me for being understanding! Guess what, I sacrifice a lot. In most cases am forced to humble, to save my marriage. To save my kids, and to equally save my reputation. I am only successful in this because I have experience in the mistakes I made at first. I was rigid and non-forgiving. Makame now admires my marriage, but all these mistakes are what I shared with him. I am confident that he is going to save his marriage.

Everything is possible. But nothing is possible if you don’t try. People make a lot of mistakes because they try a lot to make the impossible possible. In that venture, they learn a lot of common mistakes. Fear of losses in your business is cowardice for your success. Every mistake made, is rewarded with a loss. To correct the losses you get, correct the mistakes you make. All the losses and the problems we get ourselves into, are brought by the mistakes we make. They act as warnings and indicators, that at a point in our previous events, we made a mistake.

Every righteous worker is rewarded or given an upper hand. To a sluggard, punishments and losses are his portion. The punishments we receive don’t interpret hatred, but are signs for us to learn and choose the right ways.

Students make mistakes, that’s why they don’t get academic success. Business people make slight mistakes but record great losses. Some teachers make mistakes while executing their profession. Most workers get sluggish in their line of duty and get punished. If all these personnel got the punishment with a positive attitude, and learn to correct them, they would attain great success in future.

I believe in the mistakes I made. I am not perfect, but am always confident and ready to learn future mistakes in my forthcoming projects, so that I continuously register great success.
